Inspired by the izakayas of Japan, we invite you to order small plates and ramen, select from our sake, beer, wine, and cocktail menu and spend time with friends and family under the warm lights of our dining room.
Teo is a neighborhood restaurant in Bushwick with a menu that draws from Japanese cuisine, Southern flavors, and traditional American methods. Join us at a seat at the counter or the grand wooden tables for a drink list that features sake, beer, wine, and cocktails. And, bring some friends to share a few, many, or all of our small plates.
Hailing from the Lone Star State, Chef Joaquin Baca left Texas to open the original Noodle Bar as the very first guy on the bun station. In 2009, he opened the Brooklyn Star in Williamsburg to proselytize on the ways of meatloaf sandwiches and mac n’ cheese. After decades of experience, Teo is his return to the casual, intimate gathering place for imbibing.
